- What I like about my campus was that there were chinar trees which looked absolutely stunning during the autumn.
- The campus life was tolerable because I had my friends with me without whom I wouldn't have survived there for those two years.
Dislikes
- What I didn't like about the University campus was the washrooms there were not kept hygienic.
- The classroom during my final semester was not having sufficient fans which created problems during summers.
Remarks :
I had read and heard about this University a lot from others and at that time everyone would say that the placement cells offer a wide range of opportunities for the students. Also the quality of education was also one of the factors for choosing this University. Yes, I did face Group discussions before admissions and also I was personally interviewed by the the Dean of our department.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason behind choosing this course was to boost my confidence and gain some exposure to build my personality. The qualification of the faculty was average but some of the professors were extremely talented and experienced. We had to give exams one after another which made our University life quite a difficult one as we had to go through CIAs for each subject once a Unit of the subject was completed. The level of difficulty for the question paper used to be somewhere between difficult and easy.
Internships Opportunities :
I had to arrange for my internship on my own. So I did my research and everything and got myself into a bank nearby for my internship and project report. Also now I have found myself a job in an educational consultancy where I've been working for about 1.5 months now.
Placement Experience :
The University does have a placement cell but they are not conducting any placements as of now. We, the students have to arrange our internship right after our final semester examination on our own because the University doesn't help at all with our placement and internship .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first year of our 1st semester, I had to pay 25000 which included both admission as well as semester fees and also it included the educational trip charges..In the 2nd sem, only 12000 and so in 3rd sem as well as 4th sem which becomes a total of 61000.
Campus Life :
If I had to talk about the campus life at my University, it was not very refreshing and interesting at all. One of the reasons was that my University campus was really smaller in comparison to other campuses, so there was not anything for the students to explore. There used to be fests like recently I attended one of the fests Called Fall Fest which happens during the autumn season and it was so fun. Also activities like arranging stalls for gaining business insights used to happen. I along with my sister and my best friend sold food stuff like momos and chicken lollypop and it was really fun.
Hostel Facilities :
As of now my University doesn't provide any hostel facilities for the students that come to study from far-flung areas. But I hope in future I hope they ponder about this matter seriously and take some action.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
