- I like the faculty and the teachers in my college. The deans and supervisor is pretty helpful and understand the students and help them out in case they do need help.
- Around college, you will find some cafes and restaurants where you can dine and eat drinks and foods and discuss about your studies together. Such a fun and exciting places these are.
Dislikes
- While the teachers are respectful, the students however don't respect them and always speak rude to them. Some students who don't take serious in their studies are present in the class too.
Remarks :
I had to choose CUK Srinagar because I wasn't eligible for any other college. This college was my best option. However, I have discussed with people about many colleges but this was the one which they recommended.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to choose Bachelors in CSE because I had a passion on coding and programming. The faculty provided by the department is pretty excellent, especially the subjects you're studying for. The teachers understand you, learn from you and you learn from them. They make you DO the problem instead of SHOWING it. There are around three exams per semester. Two of them being 15 marks each and last one being 50 marks each. In exams, you will score pretty decent if you have learnt everything in the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, The college offers internships and there are many other internships you can opt for on LinkedIn too. You learn by yourself and not from the college. You seek various platforms and gain experience so that you can get a job easily.
Placement Experience :
There are less recruiters seen in the college often hiring seniors when they are about to get their degree. The job career depends on how you work out your whole course. You are responsible for gaining skills and understanding where technology moves.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You will be paying semester-wise. The fee for one semester is around 45k rupees excluding other services like bus free and hostel fee. You pay the fee semester-wise instead of yearly which provides more flexibility for students.
Campus Life :
Recently there was food fests, fairs and expos conducted in our college. The college also celebrated Onam, an Indian Festival. The department provides you with a fully equipped library where you can read and borrow books. The library lets you choose many variety of Engineering books. People mostly play cricket in their free time, there is a huge ground opposite to the CSE department where alot of students do play and spend their time. Clubs were created in our department so juniors could reach out to seniors for extra help and conduct new activities together like Capture the Flags, Spot the Phish and HacktheBox.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opted for hostel. The college doesn't provide any hostel but there are third party ones which offer you reasonable prices. They are pretty 2KM from the college so it isn't much a burden to walk.

Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
