Remarks :
Malda college is one of the best college in malda as well as West Bengal. College environment and campus is good and safe. The admission process is fully online and email based, that's save the time and it's very understanding in every aspects.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Today business is everywhere and commerce student are also in demand for jobs and banking purpose. By the way I am a commerce student in school,so I choose this course for my future studies. Most of the faculty are kolkata University refferd and some of them got their doctorate degree also. Semester wise examination, each semester has 6 month gapp. Exam difficulty level is modarate or midium difficulty.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't done any internship. I am already working somewhere so I ignore them, but I think internship opportunities are available but mostly they are non stipend. But if you interested in this for your skills and experience you can go ahead.
Placement Experience :
You have to find jobs or any other option if college can't provide you the placements, for me I will suggest you to do masters, it will helps you lot for govt exam as well as jobs opportunity. Very low percentage of students can get placements but some time it's not stipend.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course will be 4years now as per new CBSE syllabus. Each semester you have to pay examination fees approx 1500, increase according to your course programme and semester number. All the other charges ar included in tuition fees. You can also get a government scholarship if you are from West Bengal and yearly family income less than 1,20,000/- per year. The scholarship name is Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship, you can get 12,000 on each year.
Campus Life :
In January students week, February Saraswati puja, March annual sports, and meny more programme like as annual function, 15 August and other. You can find Most of the book from the library but some of the books are not available. NSS and NCC are available as a course and students union and college officials website is always keeps you ahead, about all college updates.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality of canteen are not very good but it's average. The registration process for hostel is online but you have to submit your documents physically, sometime their is no choice for room selection. PG room are available in the college area if you want you have to contact them, as per advertisement and other sources.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
