My experience through my college days
Remarks :
The college I choose because of the quality of education it provided us. The professors here were so generous and took care of us personally in any kind of problem regarding our education. The atmosphere of the college campus is also very good. Yes there was group discussion and interviews before our admission but not any kind of tests. They took ou r interview just get cope up with us.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Actually I am found of reading various English novels all over the globe and this course helped me do that. I came accross various intersting novels both from present and past. The professors who used taught us there were all well qualified and doctorates. Their teaching techniques are just outstanding. They used to arrange a seminar before and after every lessons. And often used to call other prestigious professors from other colleges to enrich us more and more. As I told earlier after every six months there was semister and yes as you are graduating in English Literature HONS the exams need to be difficult but according to me if someone go through their lessons properly they might not face any kind problem in their respective papers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It took me 3 years to complete my graduation and it consists of six semisters. Along side I needed two tusions for extra help in studies. So for college it took me around 1000 Rs for each semister and for tution fees it me around Rs 500 for each of my tuitions. And as my collage was far from my home I needed bus fair which was roughly around Rs 50 per day. As I was under the sun caste of OBC I used to receive a yearly based scholarship of Rs 5000. The same was in case of my other batchmates too those who were under OBC subcaste catagory. But there was no compensation for the semister fees, that was equal for all around 500 Rs per semester.
Campus Life :
The college arrange every year a freshers party for the new aspirants. And also arrange a feast in the month of December every year and according to me it's the best part of the campus. The college is enriched with a big library where you can find each and every book you need. And also for extra knowledge after end of every month there is collage seminar organised where lecturers from different countries come to spread there experience. As other colleges there is also a sports week in the college and the best part is our college has its own Gym both for girls and boys. There is a page both in Facebook and Twitter run by the college students for each respective course.
Hostel Facilities :
No I didn't applied for hostel so I couldn't say anything on it. Yes there was a hostel and as per my knowledge the food they provided to the students was very healthy and tasty. When one needs the hostel facility he or she needs to apply with their registration or if they need that after they might talk in the office or it.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Review of my collage
Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
