Remarks :

So let's break it down. *DU comes under CUET and so does my college. *you need to prepare rigorously for 3 months atleast to get a decent score if you are general or OBC in category. *cut-offs are definitely high for courses like economic hons, pol science hons, bcom hons and history and English hons like these are in demand courses. then you are shortlisted on the basis of your score. Basically in DU there are three rounds and three spot rounds. atleast a week gap in each round. spot rounds are for ones who didn't get any college in the first three rounds and also for the people who have added extra curriculum and after their offline performance they are shortlisted and they get college in spot rounds which are usually late but even in spot rounds people get really good colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course is economics with maths as my minor and I am being honest. economic department is really good mostly the faculty is from renowned institutions like JNU, DSE or few from foreign countries as well. they are really hard working and cooperating. I would have it's a kind of college that pushes you to study and that you work done and being a all girls college it understands our personal problems as well.

Internships Opportunities :

I got an off campus internship which was also because of my college and course and my role was to assist the customers which was an easy task overall and my stipend was 20000 per month which was pretty decent.

Placement Experience :

we have good placement opportunities. I didn't sit for the placements though but it was this time 6L for bcom students who got selected in Deloitte and few in other companies with decent packages and the highest job offer was 26L for someone in economics. which is pretty good. you have to apply for it in the 5th semester starting and you get selected I guess after 3-4 months of whatever the process is for your desired company and e-cell guides your throughout.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

so basically the fees structure varies here: In honours couses(humanities specifically) the fees per year varies from 20k to 25k depending upon your the course you have selected. For science courses the fees is upto 30k per year and For BMMMC it is 100000 per year. registration fees is upto 8k and as when I enrolled I paid around 28k and now it is 20k per year. There are no extra charges apart from this. The examination fees varies from 900 to 2000 again depending upon your courses and whether it includes the lab or not. which I feel is pretty affordable. other than this north-eastern students, SC-ST, EWS, KASHMIRI QUOTA AND INCOME LESS THAN 300000. They are surely benefited, by refunds in fees to an extent or mostly these categories have lesser fees than the other categories. I have heard of people getting financial aid from college like whole fee waiver considering your merits and circumstances.

Campus Life :

we have top drama, dance and social work society. like if you are a part of any of these you'll get to go to IIT and other fest as a participant. girls college and hence is really calm and serene. yaa sometimes a bit boring but trust me our fest was so good that people wanted to climb the walls to just get into IPCW and enjoy the fest. more over I never felt any pressure of any kind from the college like ofcourse you have to maintain your attendance but it's an easy to go college where you get to see ambitious and career oriented girls all around. if you are UPSC aspirant trust me professor also support you alot I've hear.

Hostel Facilities :

You can apply for the college hostel at the time of admissions and in the list if you get name you are selected and it is on the basis of 12th percentage and CUET score. So basically there are two hostel one inside and one just outside the campus and I'm in the outside one. which also has two floors with AC and other two that have centralised AC so the cost for AC rooms is extra 20000 per semester. other than this the staff is pretty average or I can say above average and cooperating and trust me recently they changed the food contract and now the food is really good. earlier I have stayed in two PGs and flat as well though it better in hostel for me. Pg costed around 16k but they were far and flat was also rest even they were fine and so was the locality. ipcw is in a very poach area and our hostel is next to kejriwal residency.

Gargi Colleg , Delhi university

Placement Experience :

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Placement Experience :

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
