The main factor of choosing this college was its exposure as it is great because there are multiple departments which you can take part in and expand your network. The teaching faculty is very friendly and helpful. No, I did not face any group discussions, interviews or written tests.
I chose this course because I like the management field and my major being marketing. Qualification during the time of my admission was percentage cut off which 47% for arts background. Exams are conducted every 6 months between which internal tests are conducted before every sem.
I haven't opted for any internships yet. But the college offers multiple internships in the last year as it is crucial to develop a good resume for the students to secure a nice job. But the only problem in BMS not much internships are introduced to marketing students as compared to the finance students.
There’s a placement cell in the college, but the problem is good companies come for placements only for degrees like B.Tech and other science and I.T. related fields. I don’t have much idea about placements as I’m in the second year of my college. My plans after getting the degree is improving my skillset by doing multiple internships and them applying for post grad.
The fees amount varies per year. My 1st year fees was 30000 and 2nd years 32000. The third years fees should be around that amount as well. Multiple scholarships are offered in the college if the student scores certain marks in particular subjects.
The main college fest is DIMENSIONS which is famous throughout Mumbai and students from multiple colleges across Mumbai come to attend this fest. It is a very huge vest where celebrities also become a part to promote their movies or shows. The college has 2 big libraries in which the books which are needed to study for the exams are mandatory and other books as well. Multiple novels and geopolitical books are also available. Sports activities are conducted throughout the year in the college. Students get the chance to be a part of the college team in various sports. For eg. Football, volleyball, kabaddi, chess, etc. There is a very famous college Instagram page named kelkarconfessions in which students confess about multiple things anonymously.
No, the college doesn’t have a hostel facility. Students from nearby cities can travel to take admission in this college. There’s a canteen on the ground floor of the college which has a good menu, one of the famous dishes if chilli rice which is every student’s favourite. I haven’t rented a room or PG.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
Student must pass all the Sem for the placement or college is new thats why there was no records about placement, My after the degree to be a indie game developer and build an aweosom game with the help of C++
