- The teaching staff is sweet , they help us in every aspect and the watchmen
- The college fest are really amazing the crowd is quality crown and what else does student requires?
Dislikes
- Toilets are not hygiene, just 1 toilet that's on the 4th floor is always maintained but who'd climb 4 floor just to pee?
- Non teaching staff member are really rude. They will keep you hanging and pass the work to someone else..
Remarks :
It all began when I took interest in sanskrit language as my 3rd language, in my school I had a Sanskrit quiz competition in which I won 2nd prize. Later Kelkar college had a competition called "DHRUVA SANSKRIT" so my sanskrit teacher selected me for this. We had a treasure hunt challenge here in which my team won 1st prize. It was the first time I visited kelkar. It gave me my school vibe it felt like home . A guy from my team said abh luga toh kelkar mein hi admission luga , that statement fascinated me very much and so when I pass my 10th boards my first preference was kelkar and I got admitted in it. I had 76% + OBC category so it was easy for me. As I got admission in the college I always wanted to bei was pretty much happy. And from 11th I did my degree here itself. Course Curriculum Overview :
So I chose Arts because I wanted to study psychology. But after a time it became too much hectic for me to continue so I switched to sociology. Studying psychology made me realise and correlate myself as a victim of every disorder I read I wasn't able to differentiate between a disorder and normal level faults in human. I started victimising myself. Teacher for psychology are well qualified great at explaining concepts. One of them is rude , "neeta ma'am" who teaches social psychology and is also head of department. Teachers of socialogy are pretty cool
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't really joined the intership program of kelkar college . So I have no idea of what it is like ,and I don't wanna submit false information here to guide the audience on false statements so I prefer not to say anything related to internship programs
Placement Experience :
Kelkar gives pretty good placement in term of value for money and return on investment on my available resources like time energy and money used to complete degree+atkt fees . Kelkar has tieup with multiple companies like tata consultancy services, Infosys, accenture, jp morgan , deloite, colgate ,wipro , swift , aditya birla capital , edelweiss tokio etc

Campus Life :
Campus life here vary depending on how social or anti social you're. For a guy who is social will get into Gymkhana look for competition in his game and make friends eaisly. Some will just sit in the foyer and over hear a conversation and will try helping others. Some will just enter the canteen and start connecting to friends then their friends friends and then their friends and create a stronger network like wise girl don't need to put such efforts. Just roam anywhere dress well and apply pretty perfume and then boom they are at our college's confession page. The infrastructure of college is pretty old it's like we are studying in a castle but not really. Wilson college is comparatively ancient then... There are many clubs including each subject separate club like Sanskrit club,Hindi club,Marathi club,English literature club,Psychology department club. Along with 2 more famous dimensions and vaze sanskruti.These handles our college annual days and the biggest and most famous fest.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
