My keen interest in cybersecurity lead me to this college and I got councelled with the Jee Mains score and in the time of the councelling the faculty is very supportive and they provide you with the best possible help they can
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's very great and updated accordingly the new education policy and the faculty is Great. The central University of Jammu is very good for the undergraduate cource and its provides you with the practical knowledge that helps to you to improve the skills
Internships Opportunities :
The university provide us with the incampus internship and the faculty is very supportive with regards of the projects that we are allocated with and also helps us to improve in that particular domain
Placement Experience :
As we are the 1st batch in the university of the btech department and we don't really have the clear ideas regarding the placement but the placement of the other department is seems good and its average package is 4.5 lakh
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Starting from the 1st year it is 52985 and ithe next semester is the remaining from the 1 lakh and rest years is same and fees is increasing every year according to the college variables and its is needed as the department is improving it's infrastructure
Campus Life :
Campus is bit located at the remote area and it's still under construction and the construction that is going on will be completed in 2 years from now and when it is completed it will the best campus in the jammu and kashmir
Hostel Facilities :
No I am a dayscolar and I usually travel from my home to ge university and its good and the University also provide us with the free transport from the highway to the university campus and this helps the students to reach to the respective classes on time

For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
