Remarks :
The university campus is very big infrastructure is under process that is not fully prepared but the staff manage it very well we can’t face any type of problem here personally I recommend university for graduation. The cutt off is also not high admission is through cuet exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i want to to go in research field and i like the chemistry most so i came in this course here the faculty is most supportive all the faculty have done their phd and the teaches very well
Placement Experience :
As i talk to our senior and teachers they told that if you want to persue for further studies the university send to foreign for phd on their behalf. Placement is dependent on you. I personally want to a researcher
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees is 10215 Caution fee is nothing for university but for hostel it is 2500 Registration fee, lab fee,development fee ans the rest charges is 4000 that is given at the admission time only it is one time payment
Campus Life :
In recently the sports meet is also done in there the students participate in many types of games and also university teaches how to develop the personality. There is many types of fest is also happens time to time
Hostel Facilities :
The campus life is also good the hostels of university is not prepared fully they rented the building and made hostels in jammu city but the pg in locality is very good there is no problem the people of the village is very supportive and friendly nature

Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.

Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages.
