- The infrastructure of the college is the best amongst of the colleges in delhi University
- Though the campus life is not that great but there is very less toxic behaviour by peers. The colleges offers a very supportive environment.
Dislikes
- The clubs are very inactive. The college somewhere lacks behind in terms of extra curriculars.
Remarks :
I always wanted a female college with peaceful environment. My college is part of Delhi University. Yes, i had to appear for CUET exam conducted in 2024 and be regular with the other subsequent processes to be a part of my college. My college is also very academic Oriented, so it was a plus point
Course Curriculum Overview :
Due to the nep, the burden has definitely increased. Faculty is good but the curriculum is very burdening. The amount of syllabus we previously had to cover before the nep was half of what we are required to cover now.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the first year, the fee for my course is 30000. But in the later years the fees is reduced, for the second year it's only 29000. And in the third year we will be required to pay 27000. No, the fees is not increasing
Campus Life :
There are only a few clubs that are active. The people in the campus are really polite and easy to talk to. The campus life a little mideocre. But the infrastructure is beautiful. The college is architecturally perfect and has a big campus as well.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for the colleges but as much as i have talked to my peers staying the college hostel, i have got to know that the food is not that good but the campus life is great in the hostel. The timings are strict but overall it offers a good experience. The major drawback is it's affordability.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

Placement Experience :
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

Placement Experience :
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
