- College infrastructure are really good.
- Faculty members are well educated and their teaching methods are very much well.
Dislikes
- There are no any kind of playground near the college campus.
- Lab instruments are very limited and old.
Remarks :
I have choose this college for good placement records. Another factor is that the college is too near around my locality. Students have to go through the entrance exams like JEXPO &JELET for taking admission in any government polytechnic colleges
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choose this course for Good placement. This college has a well reputation regarding placement in mechanical engineering department. The faculty members are educated enough and their behaviour imwas good enough.
Internships Opportunities :
Few of the students participates in internship every year. Some local Substation , Power plant offers students for internship . Few students participated in paid internship like Electrical CAD design, VLSI project etc.
Placement Experience :
Students have to maintain an average CGPA of 7.5 percentage for selection of placement interviews. Most of the students get placed at different multinational companies every years. Few of the students remain unplaced due to further study purpose.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are total six semester in that 3 year course. Year fees was around 750 rupees and students have to pay an amount of 250 rupees for registration in each semester. Other fees like development fees, lab fees are not mentioned properly in cash memo as the payment was made through online payment mode
Campus Life :
There are several kinds of festivals which are organised by college authority as well as By the Students of the college. Some of the festivals are Annual Fest, annual Sports, Students farewell, Students freshers welcome party etc
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are available but only for boys candidates. Hostel foods are quite good for consume. Students can allot hostel at affordable annual cost. There are also some PGs near the college campus for girls

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
