- The thing i like about the college is the ambience of the college it have many parks inside which privides you alot of peace the college have two canteens which have very tasty food most of the time i spend is in the gurudwara as the college have a temple and gurudwara where students can sit in free time and can get connected to god
- The other thing i like about the college is that the college road is very busy road and there are alot of stalls on the road where students can eat and enjoy with there friends moreover the college have personal parking area where our vehicles are very safe and there is no tension of pur vehicle being stolen
Dislikes
- I did not like the classes of the college they are so simple and boring my mind doesn’t get connected to the studies because the paintless walls disturbs me alot
- The other thing i disslike is the teachers they are veryy rude few of them have a very different attitude as they don’t wanna talk to the students to help them they behave very formal and by which students are still confused about what to do for eg there was a workshop in the college and i was not able to get that how to fill the form and from where we have to collect the form i asked the teacher about this they did not pay attention about it and rudely said me its your responsibility to know it
Remarks :
The main reason i chose this college was the distance as from my home the college is very near and i can easily travel on daily basis and talking about the admission process it was quite simple there was no interview taken they only asked the results of the 12th standard and gave me a slip directly to give the fees and join the classes it was very non formal thing for me as i thought i have to prepare for the interview or some questions will be asked from me and i was nervous but there was no such thing. At the last the exams are held in the college it self there is not other centre for the exams and there is no strict checking students were talking to wach other while exam was going on
Course Curriculum Overview :
There are many reasons i chose this subject or course the main reason is that i have to appear in civil exams and this course includes geography , history , political science which will help me to achieve my goal on a good term without any extra effort. The faculty in the college was friendly but i did not liked few teachers because they were not having a connection with the students they came and teach and went back there was no such extra effort from there side at the last talking about the exams it was not difficult at all the level was very easy straight away from the books
Internships Opportunities :
Currently i am in the first year and i am not aware of this deeply but i have listened from the seniors that they are doint some internships as they are not from the native so they are not able to make money thats why college provided them some internships as they can live peacefully
Placement Experience :
The placement is not quiet good because there is not famous person passedout of this college and i saw no one prasing about the placement in front of me but i think the college is proving fine placement which can be enough for an average student
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
This college is pocket friendly to apply in any course moreover provides scholarship to students who scored good marks in 12th standard same as i got scholarship and was availed 5000 deduction in fees . I felt very happy after this decision made by the college moreover there are opportunities for the sc st students also
Campus Life :
There is only one fest conducted in a year and i did not like it personally because it was very boring and was not up to the mark i did not enjoy as much as i imagined. The availability of books in the library is good there is every book present which we want to read but the atmosphere in library is disturbing i cannot focus on reading book while sitting there but one thing i like about the college is its parks and the ambience of the college it had many parks where we can sit free minded and talk to our friends
Hostel Facilities :
Sorrry there is no hostel for the college students he/she have to take a independent pg or and apartment which is a disadvantage for the students but in future the college is making hostels for the students near college

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
