Remarks :
The infrastructure of this college in patiala city is great. It is too great. There are various departments like art, science, music, commerce, etc. Especially the commerce department is so great and unique. Also the fees of this college is affordable and yes according to study point of view this college is best over other patiala colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this bcom course because i have a interest in this commerce field. Especially the commerce accounts and marketing. I wanted to do mcom or mba after bcom. So i choose thid course. Every semester there are about 2 msts taken and at the end of semester finak exams are taken. The exams are definitely easy to crack if you study well
Internships Opportunities :
Till now there are no internship opportunities available in our college for my bcom degree. But there are various courses and seminars are conducted. You can opt internships online if you wanted to do so.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements and job opportunities available after bcom but you can do various jobs related to banking,teaching field. Yes, you can definitely do mcom or mba course. My plan after bcom is to do correspondence mba.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is affordable for middle class too. There are total 6 semesters. Every year college fees is about 25000 rs. So three year fees is about 75000. It means monthly fees is about 2000. If you belong to poor family various reductions are available too and scholarship too.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is great in khalsa college patiala. Every year various fests are organised which are so great. The orientation programs for first year is also very nice and decent. The library of our college is also great. All the books are available. You can opt extra activities if you wanted to do so.
Hostel Facilities :
I rented a pg in khalsa college colony at lane two. My pg is very near to my college. It just tooks 5 minutes (walk). The pg is very great and clean. I make my own food. But yes pg faculty is available in khalsa college patiala. Thry fees is also affordable and meal quality is nice according to my hostel friend.
Interview Experience :
I didn't face any type of group discussion or interview for admission. The admission process is easy. You can get admission if you have 50% marks in your intermediate class. I am rating this thing with 6 star because i think there must be some interview for admission.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
