Good aspects are the factors that are seen with one look of the college , like greenery, strictness, and accessibility to town, bus and railway station, also there is a stationary in the college premises, coming toward bad aspect that one come to know after taking admission in the college , like canteen is overpriced and selling glass bottle of cold drinks with 5 rs extra for keeping it cold, otherwise it would have been just called drink... Stationary is overpriced too , 20 rs for a print out and 15 for photostat, books are sold with mrp tag, and registers are sold with cheap local made paper... There was no exam or cutoff for admission.. first come first serve...
I wanted to prepare for government exams and bachelor of arts gave a a variety of options to choose as subjects .. faculty was qualified , but some teachers were inclined to toward students who were in extra curricular activities.. they didnt need to worry about assignments or sometimes.. MST's ... Timing was good and difficulty was moderate... Fees is too much according to the facilities, no scholarship or financial assistance is there... If you are late for fees.. you wont get your admit card for exams
No job or placement is there on campus... They just want your fees and they give you the degree without any convocation... And assume that you are qualified now you can get your own job in any sector... 0 efforts by college for students jobs...
Social life.. is okay.. campus had many placed to sit under shelter or tree shade .. hostel is only for girls... Library is too small for entire college.. only one library.. girls have 2 line and boys have 2 line.. to sit in the library ... Seperate sections ... And in total only 4 lines for entire school... Canteen is pretty backword... No fresh food.. only tea was fresh..
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
