Likes
- I like the biodiversity here, We have 2 dogs, one peacock and so many of rabits in the campus.
- I like the crowd of Gargi, it's very understanding, inclusive and beautiful.
Dislikes
- I don't like the washrooms here, some of them are not clean on regular basis.
- I don't like the canteen here which has very limited amount of menu.
Remarks :
I have seen many vlogs on YouTube about my college and found great reviews there. It also as high NIRF Ranking and the faculties here are amazing. So I kept this college higher in my preference and got it in my first round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have chosen an Honours degree which is very hectic. Through New Education Policy we have to study 3 extra subjects for Skills and Value Enhancement. That makes it total of 7 subjects which makes the schedule very hectic. Faculties of my department are great filled with empathy and compassion.
Internships Opportunities :
I just completed my first semester and also a part of a perfoming society, so right now I didn't get amy time to do so but my friends and seniors get internships. One of the senior from my department got a paid internship in her 2nd year.
Placement Experience :
My College provides internships on regular basis. There is a placement cell of our own college which sends for opportunities regularly. The college also provides placements. highest package from my college was 21 Lakhs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So I got Admission through Unreserved category, it costed me 18015 as admission and my first year fee. Other than that I have separately paid for Our English department society which was 600 Rs. Apart from these, we have to pay our examination fee per semester which varies from subject to subject, I paid 1430 for My first semester.
Campus Life :
Being completely honest, I love the campus life here. The college is always very alive and the students are always having fun in their own ways. The infrastructure is itself very beautiful and each and every corner of the campus is worthy to be taken pictures of. The red walls are more than just bricks. You will get attached to it as you are to your home. Clubs here are very intresting and famous. Some of the moat famous ones are Enliven, Kshitij and Upstage. I am myself a part of Upstage.
Hostel Facilities :
My College doesn't provide for Hostels but there are my pgs nearby the college. I can give information through my friends experiences. The price of pg starts from 11k and goes to 20-25k according to the place and the room. Most of the messes have pretty good food.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
