The college location is very nice because near the Ganga River. Direct admission after the 12th but marks basis. One of the best colleges for higher education. Big college campus and infrastructure good. With beautiful green ground.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Many courses here. But I am from a science background for this reason I choose chemistry honours. Teachers professionally trend they are Ph.D. holders in their subjects in the area very helpful and friendly. It's a semester-wise exam pattern followed by this college and the study of cost is very low not very much expensive not at all government scholarships are here.
Internships Opportunities :
No internship available here because it's a normal degree college government but big scholarships are availability is now available. But internships are not available somehow government internships are available.
Placement Experience :
It's a normal degree college for higher education it's not a placement cell but the placement guide is always here. They are very helpful to place a student in other sectors and help them to learn how to find a job.
Campus Life :
Many events are organized by my college and the annual fest organized by my college is a big fest in this college. The library is very good many books are here. Classrooms and labs are very big and clean Wi-Fi is available in my college. A big sports ground in my college for various sports and games individually indoor games and outdoor games including. Many hostels on our college campus like girls & boys hostels separate. Food quality is good & always clean mass and canteen. A very affordable hostel in my college is very low cost.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
