- Every year the college used to take us on an excursion for minimum 3 days outside Kolkata.
- Every semester there used to be small excursions within Kolkata
Dislikes
- Maintaining attendance, non teaching staffs being rude unnecessarily.
- The campus life is not fully of ananda Mohan College it's shared by city college. Although the city college do not even notify the fest is organised you have take part by yourself if you want to.
Remarks :
Before admission there was no such interviews it was Totally based on merit. I choose this college as I was preparing for some government entrance test so needed an evening college. If you are looking for the same thing it's a nice college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The teachers are very interactive very supportive of Botany faculty. Being a botany student I had a general paper of zoology,even the faculty of zoology was also very good. Such nice and interactive teachers. Always ready for the students help.
Placement Experience :
Many companies like TCS Amazon come for placement. But these are not your field based jobs. Amazon will provide you with the work from home calling job. TCS provides you with a good job starting from 12000. Wipro flipkarts other companies also hire irrelevant of your field.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is divided semester wise while taking the admission approximately 6000 is to be submitted then for exam fee 800 again for the next sem the fee is around 1000 and the same for exam fee i.e., 800 this is botany honours. If there is any suppliment paper the exam fee is increased. The college provides scholarship aikyashree for minorities and svmcm for others, through scholarship you'll get 18000/ year if the percentage is above 60.
Campus Life :
Fests are mainly organised by city college but even ananda Mohan College students take part in it. Library is open for AMC students from 4 pm Sports day is organised by Ananda Mohan College in the month of February Union also works there.
Hostel Facilities :
There's no hostel facilities available. You have to take PG for yourself. You need to find the PG either with a help of broker or the nearest world be girish park or college street PG's. PG are different for boys and girls or you may share a room with someone you know

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
