Remarks :
This is one of the best college in under graduate program, i heard of some ai related courses offered during my btech and also the high class of companies come here, the highest and avg package of this college is also quite excellent and I was very excited to come here, the campus of college and the greenery here also attracted me a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in the stuff that can be done through internet, laptop etc. So I was choosen cse here. In 1st year the courses provided are same for all expecting 1 or 2. You can also switch your branch if you get good cgpa . Exams held time to time and the difficulty level varies with the subject, Subject of coure course are tends to difficult
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1,13,000 is yearly and total is 4,52,000 Some of mine batch mates having a fees around 35,000 and 52,000 according to their financial condition . You can get scholarship according to your category (ex. Sc/st) and financial condition
Campus Life :
The campus meets the expectations very well, it provides facilities in all the fields, from sports to teach. Ziedgiest and advitya(tech fest) are the fests Held in October and February. More often the books are available in library, but during exam time there can be shortage of them. There are clubs for several activities like iota, dance club. Coaches are provided for sports and team goes for inter IIT also.
Hostel Facilities :
There are separate hostels for girls and boys, you will get a form on your college mail, you should fill that and provide the information of fees paid. Mess provides breakfast, Lunch, dinner. Oftenly the food is good.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
