Likes
- I love my college Library it is very big and beautiful with thousands of books, 4 to 5 newspaper and jonourals
- Almost everything is Available within campus , like hospital, medical, bank , atm , barber shop, post office.
Dislikes
- The college is not full made , construction is going on , strength of students increase but no new hostels are made
- Lecture hall are very far from hostle rooms and sports complex is around 2 km from hostle rooms
Remarks :
Admission is purely based on jee advanced rank which we can give only twice, one with 12th class and one just after 12th , based on jee rank we have to enroll for jossa councling and we fill preference of college and best college according to our rank is allotted
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose mechanical because of on hand experience. Faculty of specialy mechanical department are kind and very helpful We have around 2 quiz and 2 semister exam one mid semister and one end semister, courses are slightly difficult sometimes some students even get fail
Internships Opportunities :
Roughly avg of 70 thousand is stipend is available to students of my college, company like microsoft, amazon, matlab, sprinkler, texas comes for intership recruitment for all types of role for technical to management etc.
Placement Experience :
There is as such no eligibility criteria for placement everyone is allowed by placement cell but company prefer students who don't have any backlogs . Company like microsoft, amazon, L&T , mahindra, zomato , BPCL frequently visit for recruitment. Average package is 15.75 LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee depend on catagory Gen, obc, ews - 113600 Gen, obc, ews(income 1 to 5 lac ) - 46934 Gen, obc , ews( income less than 1 lac ) - 13600 Sc,st, pwd - 13600 No direct scholarship provided by college but college pays intrest of loan taken at sbi iit Ropar, Also govt and NGOs scholarship are available based on income.
Campus Life :
There are lots of culture program, My favourite is dj night which happens frequently, and major culture fest like zeitgeist, aarohan, advitya etc takes place every year. There are lots of clubs for different intrest of different people like for movie , poetry, finance, photography, areomodeling , dance etc are available
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel room are available for everyone no need to take room outside campus, expect dinner on Friday and saturday mess food is also good, not like typical mess , charge for mess is 130 rs per day , and for hostle is 10000 which is one time payment plus 1500 rs each year as hostel rent .

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
