- I like the environment of my college. Campus is good.

- I don't like the location of college. It is village area.
- No good restaurants/hotels are nearby we have to go to main town.
Remarks :
I gave west Bengal joint entrance examination and according to my rank this was best choice for me to join. The college is government, fees is very low, well known for electronics and communication department.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is 4 years b.tech electronics and communication engineering. The college faculty specially my department faculty is very nice. Professors are very helpful and supportive. We give semester wise exam and in every semester we give 4 internal exam then finally practical exam and theory exam.
Internships Opportunities :
College gives some opportunities for internship but it's hard to get good skill related internship. You have to find internships by your own and work hard on skills to get internship. College will definitely help you out.
Placement Experience :
Very few good companies visit our college. Placement is not very attractive. Most students prepare for gate or other competitive exams and go for higher studies in better university. You have to work hard by yourself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college is a state government engineering college under makaut university so the fees are very less. Tution fee 6000 rupees per semester which is 12000 per year for 4 year btech course. Hostel fee is seperate, for first and second year students no hostel available so thay have to stay in mess or public hostels, there are many around the college which cost 3000-5000 per month according to their service room quality and number of students sharing a room, 3 time meal is included there. In 3rd and 4th year students get college hostel so the cost decrease from 3-5000 a month to 15000 a semester. But for girls college hostel available from very first year so they don't have to stay outside.
Campus Life :
The tech fest is 'Aikatan' which is held on month of march-april. Library is not so good it's like always all books are not available and no extra book other than our curriculum is available. Every year sports competition helds and we get certificates and prizes.
Hostel Facilities :
For girls hostel is available from 1st to 4th year but for boys 1st and 2nd year in pg and 3rd and 4th year in college hostel. Pg is available near college and also in purulia main town. College hostel is affordable fees changes every semester but it is around 12-15000 per sem.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
