Likes
- The Canteen is too big and the food is just okay okay quality. But I love the outside cafeteria.
- The NBS building is our love because there is lots of labs on that building and the labs are really awesome.
Dislikes
- We don't have a big ground for playing football or cricket we have a small ground but it's not too big.
- The lifts are sometime don't work. So there is problem for sometime using the lifts.
Remarks :
Many of my friends had faced GD, but I didn't faced it. I don't know but some how I didn't appeared for GD for admission. Personally I choose this college because there's isn't any cybersecurity colleges near me so I found this college from Google that this college is offering cybersecurity and it's too affordable like around under 4 lakhs.
Course Curriculum Overview :
First of all cybersecurity is a very demanding and professional course in IT field. And the faculties are very friendly. They treat us like there children and their teaching style is just unique and professional. As my personal opinion this course is really good for me.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have opted An one month internship at future trix. They gave me an certificate for it. I discovered many things in that internship. Yeah definitely it is unpaid because I don't have any experiences because I was in 1st sem.
Placement Experience :
There is a lots of chances to get placed and internship. Recently I got an internship at future trix company as an intern cybersecurity content writer. So this a great experience for me. And after 5th or 6th sem you are eligible to sit on interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Basically the fees structure is too affordable. Atleast a middle class family can afford this by loan. Even I'm studying by loan. The fees are total 4 years 3,92,500. The breakdown is like 50,000 admission 45,000 per sem tuition fee. And the last 7th and 8th sem there's a fee difference like 7th and 8th sem fees just 33,700 approx. And the exam fees are from MAKAUT around 1200 per exam fee approx. Yes there's scholarships also but you have to eligible for scholarships. There is many scholarships like swami vivekananda scholarship and aikyashree etc.
Campus Life :
The main Social fest named is LOGIN event. And there is lot of minis social events. And we have our main Global Conference. Analytical Global Conference 2025 in March 8th and 9th. Where students and others can submit there research papers for showcase. Campus Life is really awesome our college starts at 9:30 and ends at 6pm. There are 2 libraries in 2 buildings NCMT AND NBS.
Hostel Facilities :
To be honest there isn't any hostel provided by college. But yeah you can find many pg's near college there is lots of option to find pg's. But yeah the college don't provide any pg's or hostels to stay in there.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
