- Lpu is a very big university, beautiful infrastructure.
- College life is great in lpu,there are grounds,gym,indoor stadium and even swimming pool inside.
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike is very strict laws , you make one mistake and u can loose your scholarship.
- Curriculum, most of the subjects are irrelevant.
Remarks :
I choose this college because the course which I'm interested in available in less college and lpu is one of them and secondly this college belongs to my own state and many scholarship opportunities were here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I'm having the interest in hacking from my school time and I found this course here. Almost all teachers here are graduated from IITs or NITs and they teach from various ppts and for some courses they have tieup with some companies to provide material for eg for dsa they having imneo platform where we can solve these questions practically. And every semester is for 4 months almost and final exams are scheduled in May and December and 1 or 1.5 month holiday also .
Internships Opportunities :
College offer many internship opportunities even in foreign countries but that all depends on your cv and marks. Specific names I don't know because I'm in second year and never tried to get a internship but whatever I have seen many of the seniors are doing internships and earning too
Placement Experience :
In order to sit in the placements u should have cleared all the exams no backlog or reappear. Many big companies visit here including google and average package I can say is 4lakhs and highest package in campus was 64 lakhs and out campus was 3 crore. 30-40% percent students gets placement. After getting a degree I'm planning to get involved in some business.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per sem fee for core btech cse is 120000 but it will increase if you take some specialization 1.5 for ai 1.9 for Cybersecurity and many scholarship opportunities on the basis of either 12th result, jee result or on the basis of exam taken by lpu in the form of lpunest by which u can attain a scholarship upto 30% in btech. It may vary depending on the course and can go upto 100%. I'm telling the fees which I'm paying it may have increase this time which available on lpu website.
Campus Life :
Many fest occur every year I can't recall there names or dates but yeah when new students join every year big fests happens or on occasion of some festivals. Library in lpu is very big u can find every book you want even there reference book and 10-20 copies of it. Every class room have atleast 2 ac, seats are comfortable, there is one projector for faculty to present there ppts . Overall facilities are good.
Hostel Facilities :
Good quality is good but I can't say about taste some taste good some worse. I have not opted for hostel but it's starting from 80k per year, I rented a room nearby in lawgate where u can find a room for 5-10k which is fully furnished.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
