Remarks :
I choose this college because I didn't scored very good in Jee so I thought for going in some private college . LPU conducts entrance exam named LPUNEST based on that they give you some scholrship based on your score.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As i mentioned the course is divided into 8 semesters 2 semesters per year. So the curriculum is good there is not much practical work for cse students but for ece students there is a lot of practical learning. In every semester two times exams are conducted i.e mid term and end term .
Internships Opportunities :
There are a lot of companies visiting the campus every year like capgemini, cognizant, mu sigma, tcs etc. But they offer a very low package compared to other colleges . The college authorities pressurize you to grab any one of these companies so they can show that these many students are placed.
Placement Experience :
The placements are not that much good everyone thinks they will get a high package if they study in a big university. But that's opposite here. No one listens to your problems related to placements. There are a lot of companies visiting the campus every year. But those are not that much good
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly tution fees needs to be submitted in two parts i.e at the start of every semester . The per semester fees for btech cse is 120000. So the total fees that is to be paid every year is 240000 for me and it is increased now. It increase on yearly basis.
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good you will get a great exposure. You will get to meet differenet people and there are a lot of events that happens in the college campus itself . There are a lot of clubs in which you can participate according to your intersest.
Hostel Facilities :
There are seperate hostels for boys and girls and there are mess inside hostel if you want to eat food inside hostels . The hostels are well maintained . There is electricity 24*7 and there are hostel wardens to solve your problems.

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
