Remarks :
Overall experience at the institute is wholesome. LPU is the oldest and finest engineering college of India. It is at the top in ranking of state government colleges of punjab. It provides vast opportunites to students including projects, internships and many more. It has a very big alumni network.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are highly experienced.Most of them are IIT graduates and have completed their masters and phd from prestigious colleges like IITs, NIT Rourkela,etc.There are 2 semesters per year.Each semester has a mid sem and end sem. It has a strict curriculum.
Internships Opportunities :
No actually I have not opted for any internship. Our college provides a lot of internship opportunities from second year onwards. They are basically stipend based internships. Many top MNC's provides internship opportunities.
Placement Experience :
In our branch maximum students got placed last year about 90% with a decent package. Top recruiting companies are jsw, vedanta, reliance, tata steel etc. Highest package was offered from companies like amazon and cisco.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees for BTech per semester is nearly 40000 rupees and 80000 for 1 year and a total of nearly 320000 for 4 years. This is actually the tution fees. Apart from that hosteller have to pay the hostel fees and that is 60000 per year
Campus Life :
Life at campus is very enjoyable. There are many technical, dramatic, sports clubs in our college. We also have our annual cultural and technical fest organized each year. Our college has a huge library.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is decent. There is no wifi facility.But a student can acquire a LAN. Hostel mess is below average.There is strict hostel incoming and outgoing timings.Our labs are well designed with execellent resources.Each classroom has a smart board.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
