- Have a strict attendance even on degrees like bcom
Remarks :
I had a discussion with my parents and a senior I knew from that college so my marks was fulfilling the criteria for this colleges merit list and i got admitted and alloted for this college so I took admission here ... And it is a good college for commerce under Calcutta University so I pursued my degree here
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty is pretty much experienced here with a good teaching methods at physical classes although no online classes are provided which is certainly a drawback .... The college teachers provide notes for all the subjects and there are 2 teachers for each subject
Internships Opportunities :
No i have not yet opted for any internship although I got two opportunities to do internship but they didn't provide transportation so it was far and i couldn't manage with the distance so I didn't pursue any
Placement Experience :
There is not many placements option available but yes the college provides various options for internship... As I am in 1st year and I've attended one seminar regarding the BSE bombay stock exchange internship which had a price of rupees 5000 but no food and transportation was included in this students have to manage on their own ..
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester fees is around 6500 excluding the form filling and other things so yearly it will be around 14000 .... Campus Life :
My college timings are from morning till 2pm maximum so it doesn't entertain any night life but as it is located in the good area of college street also called as bankim chatterjee street .. so there are cafes nearby were we usually hang ... Indian coffe house is being an attraction for all students .. the fests are conducted and farewell party freshers and annual sports events are held in the college ... Extra curricular activities have a option to learn dance in the campus by a trainer and also some extra cultural function are there
Hostel Facilities :
There is not any option for hostel but we have a college canteen which is pretty much affordable with a good food options ... And there are PG Options available nearby with the lowest of 14k per head expenses including food

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
