- The college faculty is extremely supportive and the Infrastructure is well-built. The best element about the environment there is that it is Ragging Free. There hasn't been a single case of Ragging. With a broad experience at College, I felt that I had a really amiable experience with seniors and juniors and everyone respects others.
Remarks :
The college provides amazing infrastructure and opportunities to grow, innovate and flourish as Future leaders. The Financial Markets Program was under a tie up with the the National Stock Exchange of India and the courses were taught in detail with practical exposure. The college conducted a National Level Entrance Examination to select students and the scores in the said examination determined the scholarship that started from 10% to 50% waiver in tution fees. The college believes in the two-tier approach of Professionalism and Discipline.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose the domain of Financial Markets to develop and brush up my knowledge of the Financial arena. The faculty at the College are Highly qualified, with most of them having completed their PhD. Teaching Methods are exemplary. The college has a core concept of beginning every semester and every subject with a Zero lecture week, wherein the teacher just introduces the subject and the study environment to familiarise students with what will happen in the coming semester. The college conducts Mid term and End term. Mid term has little weightage, about 20% for most of the courses. A lot of weightage is given to Assignments and Practice projects and attendance also keeps its place in the weightage segment. A Good attendance record can fetch one good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for an internship from College as I was preparing for Higher studies. However, I completed summer internship program in the domain of accounting under a CA. We had to then prepare a report regarding the internship and the learnings from it and we were awarded grades on the basis of our learnings, work done, feedback from recruiter and our presentation skills.
Placement Experience :
The college has seen a surge in brilliant placement packages over the past few years, with placements going upto INR 3 Crore. During the Course, you need to go for summer internship and if you need help securing an internship, the college will definitely help you. Professional courses like MBA and Btech are seeing a rise in placement records.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly Tution Fees: INR 2,00,000 Yearly Tution Fees After Scholarship: INR 1,00,000 (50% scholarship) Yearly Examination Fees: INR 6000 Scholarships are based on Scores achieved in LPUNEST, the LPU based National Level Entrance Examination. The other way around is Meeit based. Based on the percentage or CGPA scored in previous qualifying exam, either 12th Standard or Graduation marks.
Campus Life :
Life at College is vibrant and radiant. The college sees a new event every day and every time. There is a lot to do, ranging from webinars to college concerts, Alumni meets, celebrities performances every few weeks. Moreover, the college conducts yearly functions where each school represents a country or state and showcases it's culture through acts, music, dances and more. It's lovely to be around the 600 acre campus and the ambience is marked by abundant food courts with various options to try.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facility of the College is vast and variant. There are about 8 Boys Hostels and 6 Girls Hostel and more are being constructed. One can choose AC and Non-AC rooms, Standard or Apartment, 1-seater to 7-seater as well. The admission councellor assigned to you by the college during admission guides you step by step on hostel Booking. One can get Early Bird benefits on Hostel and Mess Booking. The hostel mess provides range of options, from North Indian to South Indian, with option amongst Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Snacks and Dinner. One can choose from different combinations. Furthermore, you get Laundry and gym facilities and each hostel has departmental stores and canteen facilities. Cleaning facilities are available and workers come daily for cleaning rooms depending on your availability.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
