- The college infrastructure and campus is quite good. The faculties are good especially chemistry department. Professors of Chemistry Department are very helpful.
- My Overall Experience of my college is 6 out of 10.
Dislikes
- I don't like the behaviour of some the college staffs.
- The some of college staffs are not good and simp the profile of girls in our college.
Remarks :
I want a fulfillment criteria on government jobs exam, that's is why i joined this college. NCC and hostel facilities are not functional right now. I am never heard of hosting any group discussion, quiz competition.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academic portion of this course is too good and the faculties are good especially chemistry department. Other department are good but not as chemistry. Exam level in internals are quite good. But the smart boards are not available in my college but the projector is quite functional in some departments.
Internships Opportunities :
Our government college is based on academics, awareness, Good mentors. I am never heard of any companies who come and recruit the students to their company.Also The college is not having a Central government internship.
Placement Experience :
There are big names who studied in this college but the internship is not available. The Mentorship programme like Government Exams, Social Awareness is being hosted sometimes. My Plans is to get government jobs after the completion of my degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of Honours mates are too high like 1000 ruppes extra. The Government scholarship program like Oasis, Swami Vivekananda (criteria - 60% in semister exams) is running regularly to help poor students.
Campus Life :
Fest Experience is quite good. Our batch wasn't getting freshers welcome due to COVID pandemic. Availablity of books in library is quite good and PYQ's are available. Annual Sports are being hosted in every year. We guys having a special group to bunk the boring lectures such as Zoology.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college Hostel is not running currently. Some of my friends hired a room. The Hostel was running about 10 years ago and fess is affordable. In present construction work is going despite of having 1 crore donation from Our CM Mamata Banerjee.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
