- I like the infrastructure of the academic blocks. You'll get labs, research rooms, study rooms, clean washrooms, drinking water everywhere in the blocks.
- Another thing I like is the sports infrastructure like there are designated places and equipment that are needed for the games.
Dislikes
- I don't like the behaviour of the staff at university hospital, as we are away from home and unwell we are already emotional right, only thing we expect is someone to give emotional support. But staff at hospital is quite rude.
- Second thing I don't like is if you had any problem and you want to meet the higher authorities, they won't easily allow you to meet them also there are many issues which students face but they don't listen to us
Remarks :
My addmission was based on JEE MAINS score but I had to give lpu nest to avail the scholarship. But they provide scholarship to everyone taking addmission here, so it's of no use as they will charge you for everything inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is really hectic, we have 2 class test per subject excluding MTE and ETE. As of now I have 11 subjects so it gets hectic to manage all the tests as every test holds marks in the final results. The faculties aren't that good but I would like to appreciate the core subjects faculties like I've got really great faculties for cloud computing they focus on teaching students practical rather than focusing on reading ppts.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am into my second year right now, I haven't done any internship till date. We'll be getting intership in our 3rd year i.e. 6th semester. And in third year I have to take placement classes in order to sit for placement drives
Placement Experience :
Placements are average but don't trust the advertisements it shows average package of 10 lpa but I know people with placement of 3.5 lpa but even some didn't got placed Companies do visit campus but here crowd is huge. In my batch there are 10,000 students enrolled just for btech CSE. They won't be able to provide these many companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is not increasing, and per semester fees for me is 84000. I have 28% scholarship and we have to pay 5000 per sem for exam fees. Also there is no category system the addmission is completely based on marks and army personnels have different fees
Campus Life :
Infra structure is good but facilities aren't good as per the fees is taken. Like the wifi in the hostel doesn't work, the food in the mess is quite tasteless and for the hostel fees it keeps on increasing by 10,000 rs per year which is not required. Also the life inside campus is very expensive like everything here is so overpriced. And about the opportunities, there are alot but due to 9-5 classes I literally get exhausted and I really don't have energy to participate in events.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess food isn't good also the campus has all pure veg mess , no nonveg is allowed inside campus. Infrastructure of hostel is not good, walls are damaged, also the hostel life of girls is worst, hoste in time is 7:00 pm and after that girls aren't allowed to go out at any cost. Girls have too many restrictions inside campus that at a point you'll get depressed. Hostel fees get increased per year by 10,000 and the categories of hostel that are available are- ac, non AC. 1,2,3,4,6 seaters

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
