- Night life in college is very good because of various sports which students play in night
- The environment and weather in the area is very good and pleasant. And college cleanliness level is very high also the air quality is also good
Dislikes
- Hostel food is not up to the level they provide bad qualities food in hostel. And also the hostel bathrooms are not up to that much level
- Some faculty members are very strict they don't listen to any of the student .they give student too much assignments and put them too much under pressure.
Remarks :
There are many good aspects of college including location the college is located in the feet of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. The admission process include admission through JEE mains and also college has internal rounding which also sess JEE mains marks.And there is seat reservation for SC ST students . The cutoff of civil branch is around 50% tile and also the student have minimum 60% in class 12th marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The only reason I choose this course is because my family background is civil engineering. In civil engineering the exams are held two times each semester one is minor which is of 20 marks and other is major which is of 40 marks and rest of the 40 marks is depend on the teacher whether he can take quiz or he can give assignment. The faculty is very good and qualified but sometimes they are fail to connect with students. But the overall faculty experience is very good.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any township because I am currently in second semester the name of the companies which comes for College placements are LNT Ambuja cement UltraTech in civil engineering. Also the teacher provides student some project which help them in their future career.
Placement Experience :
I don't know about placements are internship because I am currently in second semester the placements and internships start from 3rd year. But I heard from some senior that the college provide good internships but the placement record is not very good especially in my branch civil engineering. The average package in civil engineering is around 4 to 5lacs. The eligibility criteria for placements is that student does not have any backlog or have to get more than 6.5 CGPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is around 180000 and if you include hostel fees it would be around 45000 so total fees is around 225000 approx. The college don't provide any scholarship. And also there is no reservation for SC and St students for fees scholarship.
Campus Life :
The night life in our college is very good there are two places like red rocks and BC junction where you can experience the nightlife and also in night there are girls roaming around and playing sports. There many fest which are conducted in the university like ekatva and musical fest overall experience is pretty good. Student also can join various club in the college including dance club and its club acting club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but I heard from any students that hostels are very good but the only bad thing about the hostel is there provide not as much expected food they only provide one bench and one bed also one almirah for each student.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Know About SMVDU
Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
