- Hostel life is very joyful and enjoying.
- The ground is very big and well maintained, so I use to play cricket alot there.
Dislikes
- Hostel bathrooms not well maintained and water leakage.
- Some furniture items in the hostel rooms are broken.
Remarks :
This collage was in the radius of 80 km from my home so that I will come home every Saturday and Sunday. Also I got easily admit in this collage through jee mains percentage. The minimum cut off for my branch i.e b tech in ECE is around 70 percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty of ECE branch is very nice and supportive but some of the professors are very strict, and put pressure on student. Otherwise all facilities is nice and supportive. In each semester there are 2 exams , first is miner of 20 marks and major exam of 40 number and other 40 are depended on teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted any internship program because I am in 1 st year . But there are various internship programs I had heard about . Also the collage professor provide various project which are important for students in there future .
Placement Experience :
I am currently in 2nd semister , so I don't know much about placements . But I heard from my seniors that the placements for ECE branch is good and also the last year placement of ECE branch was the most. The average package of ECE branch is 7 lakh per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My yearly acadmic fees is around ?180000 and I ad paid around ?50000 for mess and hostel separately for 1 year . The collage don't give any scholarship or financial aid that are available for student .
Campus Life :
Collage night life is very good and collage provide many fests including , musical fest , cultural fest , sports fest . Collage has vide variety of sports like football , cricket ,basketball etc. Als collage has various dedicated clubs eg dance club , cricket club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for hostel but hostel food is average and also hostel bathrooms are not good but other thing are good . There are total 4 boys hostel (basholi , nilgiri , vidyanchal , trikuta and kailash )and 2 girls hostel.

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Review of SSM college
Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
