Likes
- Infrastructure is good, faculty is also good.
- Weather is very good here. Great clubs and communities.
Dislikes
- Very less Events take place which sometimes make you feel like you are in school.
- You have walk very much as there are no elevators in hostels
Remarks :
Environment or weather conditions are good here, also it was my parents choice that I should study here because my Uncle also studied here. There were not such hard criteria for admission, It was a smooth process, Hou just have to appear in counseling session.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good faculty is also good and maximum of then are IITIANS. Exams occurs thricely in a semester and twicely practical exams. You'll see that you are very frequently giving exams just after a month, which seems to be irritating
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any internships. Since I'm in my first year so I've not opted for any paid or unpaid internships till now. But if I'll get any opportunity for opting an internship I'll definitely go for it.
Placement Experience :
Since I'm a first year student so not aware of placement criteria. But placements are okay okay , Highest package was 21.5LPA and average was 6.5LPA. Also there was an off campus placement of 50LPA. Above 80% students get placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
149250 Rs tuition fee and there will be increment of 5% every year for the year 2024-25. Admission fee is 25000. Fee is same for all category students but their is fee waiver for some students changes accordingly.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is good , clubs are also good, but less interaction with seniors. Major fests are Murious, Prakram, Le Fiestas. These fests include Technical, sports and annual fests, where you'll not be getting your days off.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is way better than other colleges. Rooms are easily available. Also PG's are also there just outside the campus. Hostel life is good here, just beware of monkeys near you. As some times they get inside hostel and create chaos.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
