- As I always tell LPU stands out for it's campus life,there are students from every part of India which you are going to enjou and learn vast range of cultues
- Curriculum of the university is very good,there is no unnecessary things to study
Dislikes
- Hostels are not at all worthy for it's price,because of this most of the students opts to stay outside the campus
- Less care given to sports students like me,diet must be improved atleast for sports students
Remarks :
I recently appeared for the LPU NEST exam, which is the entrance test conducted by Lovely Professional University for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The exam itself was entirely focused on the subject-specific questions relevant to the course I applied for, along with sections that assessed general aptitude, logical reasoning, and English proficiency. The process was quite straightforward and centered solely around the written examination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very good I'm saying this because I feel like there is not too much importance given to unwanted subjects,you can skip those subjects if you have prior knowledge And syllabus is designed according to the currect need of market and placement scenario
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship as I'm currently focusing on my sports career But I know my friends who are currently doing internships and got placed in companies You will get plenty of opportunities in lpu if you study well
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities and placements depends on how you study and what skills you have. I can guarantee that you will get placed in a good company and with a good package if you have good skills The university will help you with that There is a person in my batch who got placed for 1cr per year,this shows that there is great opportunities coming you way
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid the fees of 86,000 to 96,000 per semester(which varries in this range between every semester) It is increasing for every batch Now it might be around 1,00,000 per semester I got this fees after getting scholarship from LPUNEST examination It varries a little bit for everyone according to their marks,but it will be around the price which I mentioned earlier According to me it is very much affordable because in my state normal colleges charge more than 4 lakhs per year,considering the standard of LPU this is very affordable
Campus Life :
This is the most special thing about LPU,and this is where it stands out from most of the other universities Campus environment is very good and free,so that students won't feel like being in a jail Rules are also not that strict like most of the other universities, ofcourse there are some rules but it is completely understandable and acceptable
Hostel Facilities :
Though the campus life is food,I won't tell hostels are not that good Rooms are not comfortable considering it's price About booking process,everything is done online You will get whatever room you want in 1st year,but you will find it difficult to get rooms of your choice in 2nd,3rd and 4th year

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
