Likes
- College has a calm and pleasant environment with cleanliness and greenery. Animals like cats, dogsand peacocks are seen in the campus area.
- Cafeteria and outlets of Amul and Nescafe provide good food and drinks. Library is huge. Sports ground is huge. Amphitheatre is huge.
Dislikes
- College socities are inactive and the ones active are only music, dance and drama.
- College is only girls and restricts participation of boys in the college even in competitions and fests.
Remarks :
The college is near the North campus with beautiful infrastructure and campus area. Easy accessibilty to metro and local buses. Good teaching faculty. Hostel provided. Inactive societies and less extracurricular activities. Academics oriented college. Admission through CUET exam based on Class 12. My Score 752/800.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teaching Faculty is good. Academics oriented college. All professors highly qualified with doctorates. Exams happen twice an year as set up by delhi university with continuous assessments and internal assessments by the teachers throughout the semesters.
Internships Opportunities :
J. E. E. T society of the college works for internship and job opportunities. I, personally had a 14 days internship in Younity community where I earned around 700 rupees as stipend which was performance based.
Placement Experience :
Average package is around 5 lakh per annum. The highest package was 21 lakhs per annum. Departmemts of economics, commerce, computer science and BMMMC have better placements than other courses. 80% of students may land a placement.

Campus Life :
Shruti fest is conducted generally in march when there are fests happening all around delhi university. Library has abundant of books and journals which can be issued for reading anytime. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, white boards and green baords. Big Sports ground with multiple nets for games. Badminton, basketball, Cricket, football teams win many competitions. Socities are not so active except a few like music society, dance society and drama society which are actively engaging.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 2 hostels, one inside and one outside the college campus. Mess is good with variety of food during the week from South Indian to Pasta and homecooked Roti sabzi. Food is provided 3 times a day with snacks in evening. Registration process is easy,You just have to apply on the college website when admission opens. Financial aid is provided for low income families.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
