- Campus Life was great you can experience every thing if you are able to utilize fully, like parties, events, hackthons etc.
- Infrastructure was great like campus was 600 acre in that u can have every in campus like hospital, hotel, food stalls and even shopping mall which have clothing stores, electronic stores, food, gaming like bowling, pool ball,etc. where u can't find any infrastructured campus like this in India.
Dislikes
- Engaging with faculty is but tough because some professors will give leaneance some won't even care so try find good professors and build rapo with which will be helpful in future
- Not hostels were good, every hostel block is different and management and maintenance too, bh6 hostel is big and best hostel to stay, for freshers bh2 is good, remaining hostel blocks not much good so be early too chose good hostel
Remarks :
As I am from south I want explore other parts of India, as searched for college in North LPU was affordable and also conveniently good studies and placements too, for joining I wrote LPU Nest exam I got admission through this only, with got 190 out of 400
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose computer science and engineering because of placements only because in overall courses only computer science have more placement opportunities even better than MBA in LPU, the circulam was good even these times it got improved with more industry focused courses were implemented like ai, data science with are separate course options to pursue. Professors were good most of professor got research paper published on their and most of them were phd and masters did people, try to build good rapo with professor of helps u with grades too depends on individual but if u r interested to learn they will guide with anything, so try to be more interactive with professor. Exams were not too tough or too easy it was better to study every subject, if we concentrate bit in studies we can pass Most of the courses got both theriotical subjects and practical subjects which were help u to understand more about subject Overall circulam was good it will be helpful to improve and explore more skills
Internships Opportunities :
I have done intership Capgemini in 4.2 semester and then got full time, roles was software analyst In the intership they gave us training on dot net and full stack development we also done some projects as shadow in company to gain relatime experience
Placement Experience :
Placements in LPU is great, they provide particular circulam for placement studies 3.2 sem year itself they give u access to various preparatory courses like hitbullseye, and other study websites for mock test which prepared by college only, u need complete a mock test on every subject for every week to get ready for placements, the average package u can get is 4.5 lpa most of the companies with great packages like Amazon, quantiphi, informatica packages like 12 lpa would come in 3.2 semester it self so u need to be ready of 3rd semester in whatever course u r in, mass recruitment will happen in 4.1 sem by companies like cognizant Capgemini TCS, Infosys etc Most of students get placements who got pass no backlogs to sit in placements but that's also depends company requirements. Most of the big companies takes max 30 students Computer science have Great opportunities compared to other courses. The highest package in 2023 was 30 lpa and lowest was 3 lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Actually per semester for my computer science engineering 90000 concession if 20000 on basis of LPU Nest exam. So, my fee was 70000 per sem, some people will get concession of upto 50000 that is the max waiver which on basis of LPU Nest or 12th or Other eligible examinations like iit jee
Campus Life :
Social life was amazing, like they are around 90 student clubs were there every club got different theme, try to socialize u will be able to build more network than outside. Library got 5 floors with every subject including journals and magzines too, it was open till 11:30 pm Fests were great things in LPU, not specific event most of events organized by clubs, events like edm parties, fashion shows, music events, stand up comedy, cultural events, hackthons, sports which are most organized by college it self for inter college events, quizes whatever the vibe u get college itself is great if u utilize fully, every event u will get t notification in college portal it self u can go and register there.
Hostel Facilities :
Food was good, u can find more variety of options stalls all over the campus, as there international students so can get more good options in food, even though Hostel food is also good, but only thing u can get only veg options inside campus, but I heard that from mid of 2025 there will inclusion of non-veg options in campus. Hostel is good u can both ac and non AC options available hostel fee will get increased for every new batch by year There are apartments also available in campus If u don't want to stay in campus hostel u can get stay outside of campus, the area called law gate it is full of students u can get three sharing furnished room for 8000 and for food u need to cook it is great vibes outside the hostel too the area is but clumsy and dirty in rainy season but there all students will be there so u can enjoy the vibe in nights. To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
