- Campus is beautiful, great scenery, greenery and the weather is nice
- you can visit various picnic spots, like patnitop, devi pindi, jungle gli and many more also you can visit religious places like vaishno mata, shiv khori and more
Dislikes
- Average hostel rooms and average facilities
- For a college like this rules are strict, boys cannot go outside the campus after 9pm and girls cannot go outside after 7 pm and need to be back at hostel at sharp 8pm
Remarks :
Taking admission here is quite easy and affordable, For degrees like B.Sc GD/PI rounds are not there, for MBA GD/PI rounds are there and only basic questions are asked, no special preparations are required
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a keen interest in science that made me choose this course Some of the Professors here are highly qualified and are cooperative Exams are taken systematically and timely and the difficulty level is moderate
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are not offered by college directly, you have to apply for internships on your own by applying to various companies and laboratories and some of these offers stipend average stipend depends on company you chose which can be 10k per month, however you can do projects on college itself but no stipends are offered
Placement Experience :
Placements are not there for B.Sc and M.Sc degree till now, placements are there for B.tech and MBA and quite good percentage of students are offered placements in these respective degrees highest package is almost 20 Lpa and average is 3-4 lpa
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For bachelors in biotechnology 20000 per year tuition fee and for masters its 55000 per year, few benefits are there for SC/ST. For btech its 1,30,000 per year tuition fee and for mba its 1,60,000 per year tuition fee
Campus Life :
Average and basic fest are there which are conducted twice a year Almost every academic books are available in central library Sports matches are held in cricket, football, kabaddi Music, Dance, Sports, Photography clubs are there
Hostel Facilities :
Some hostels are nice and are newly built, New basholi and Shivalik A and the rooms are spacious and good other hostels are also okay, Food quality is average and the registration for hostel is quite easy you just need to fill out a form

Placement Experience :
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
