- I like the college Environment, Auditorium, Classroom, Smartclass Room, computer Room and library also.
- My Department Faculties are too Helpful and friendly
Dislikes
- There was a one building which is not enough for all courses. They should build another buildings from outside. The college area is too big so this is not so difficult .
- And need A big Canteen where avilable the lunch.
Remarks :
I choose it because first of all it's a government college and their was 31 seats and only for honours Candidates. Here Admission process is online i find it from their website . It's based of cut off .
Course Curriculum Overview :
It's a government college. The college campous was too clean and Silent no smoking zone also. Water purifier on every floor , Free Wifi service, Won lab Fecilities, A Huge library, A.C auditorium, Smart Classrooms and Well conditions Desk . Overall it's Super Affordable College for all. And Most noticeable point is Faculties. They are too friendly and Well knowledgeable. All professors are Phd holders. They are so helpful like private tutor. if any one continuos attend the class then he/she not to need any type of tutions.
Internships Opportunities :
It's a literature subject. if any one interested in literature or inscriptions then they can fo join this course. Internationally it' s a huge demanding subject even Nasa and ISRO recruited transletor in this Subject. You can do Educational Teacher and Professors to by profession.
Placement Experience :
No placement or job opportunity in this college because it's a general graduation college where you get your degree and join next Masters course and became a Educational Sector Person. you can join any well University With your original marks.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester Wise Per Semester on Arts -780 to 1000 like 1st Sem- 770 2nd Sem- 790 3rd Sem-810 4th sem -850 5th sem-910 6th sem -1050 And Science 1450-1700 and also extra charges for excretion and Lab .
Campus Life :
Well decorated building, College Management organised Fest ,Basata Utsav, Rabindra Jayanti, Sanskrit Dibas, Matrivasa dibas, Saraswati Puja and etc. A canteen in out of the building . When it' s a government college then their too opportunites are available like government's festivals Participation, every international and national seminar here organised, many types of Sports they are organised.
Hostel Facilities :
No there was no hostel facility but they have a canteen where available too cheap rated good food and water, Juice, coffee and also tea biscuits. And They provided small tiffin on every festivals like Fest, sports, basanta ustav etc .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
