- Library is full of books. Computer lab is ok. Free wifi. Big campus. Smart board is great for learning.
- Campus life is good. Students are helpful to each other. Projector of the classrooms are good quality
Dislikes
- New teachers with less experience. Weather is on the hot side. Dusty environment. No AC available.
- Less knowledgeable office stuffs. This is because they are new.
Remarks :
You can get admission through WBJEE in 1st year Or if you have a D.pharm degree then you can get an entry through JELET exam. Direct entry is also available (without any of these exams). College is average. This is closest college from north side of west bengal, so I chose this one.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I like the the study of medicine. That's Why I chose this course. Teachers are mostly new with full of energy. Also this is also a negetive point because they lack experience. Exams are happening most of the time (internal exam). Difficulty level is medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes. 3 month factory training and 1 month hospital training. This is mandatory. You can take training from your preferred choice of places. College will help you with the process. After competition a certificate will be provided.
Placement Experience :
Placement options are growing day by day. If you are eligible you can get jobs. Many organisations like appollo pharmacy or MedPlus and other manufacturing companies are conducting interviews time to time.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
2 semester in every one year. And fees of every semester is 56000, During admission in lateral entry you should pay Rs. 70000. It includes uniform and other all costs like laboratory fees etc. Fees of other categories are same (SC, ST). SVMCM Scholarship (Worth Rs 60000 in every year, if you got admitted in 1st year then total Rs. 240000, for Lateral entry in second year total Rs. 180000) is available for students with 60% marks in previous examination. Also you can apply for Student Credit card and other schemes. MCM scholership(Rs. 30000 every year) is also available for students with more than 2 years gap in their previous course of studies
Campus Life :
There are no political party or activities in the campus. So there will be no distractions. All the necessary books are available in the library. All the classrooms have Projectors or smartboards. Annual sports also happens every year. a fest is also organised every year.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is available at a monthly fees of 5000, 2 days chicken, 2 days egg, 1 day egg, and other day veg. Chowmin is available on Friday. Buss is available for going to college. Distance between college and hostel is about 1.5 km. 24 hours electricity is available

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects.
