Remarks :
The reason why I choose this college is the opportunities that this college provide lot of different branches, lot of diversity people come from almost every state of India and outside India. The admission process begins with applying for lpunest or if you have 90+ percentile in jee then you can get the addmission. After clearing lpunest their is a certain cutoff for each branch if you make that cutoff then you are in. The bad aspect of this college is its sheer no if people attending their are more than expected no of students per branch especially for cse.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Their are a maximum of 6 subject for each semester. A semester is about four and half or five months long. Their are CA's( cumulative assessments), then midterm and then endterm. The reason why I choose CSE is because I am very interested in knowing computer related stuff for example now a computer works in core, how does a network work etc. The faculty is great mostly every teacher is Highly qualified and in between semester we also get taught by industry people.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is mostly based on cgpa above 7 are qualified to sit in any company. Recently we got microsoft, optimize, JP Morgan, speakx etc. the highest package this year is 1 crore and the average is around 6 - 4 lakh per annum. My plan is to get into a great mtech college for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester fee is 90000. The scholarship is based on lpunest exam. Through this exam we can get a maximum scholarship of up to 75000. The scholarship can also be availed by jee exam. The registration or admission or exam fee is 10000. The fee structure is divided into two semesters each semester my fee after scholarship is 90000 plus exam fee which is 4000 and if you want to avail mess, hostel, gym etc are all separate.
Campus Life :
The campus is huge it's an 800 acres of college. Lot of cool place and buildings. The one India fest is most celebrated in lpu which comes around January or February. The library has a great collection of books and immunities like computers for students discussion rooms. It's one of the greatest college for sports as neeraj chopra was once a student of this college and so many more.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess is good we have different types of mess South and North, so no need to worry south people regarding food. We can opt for hostel from the lpu admission website same for mess and other immunities as well. Their are different types of hostel, from dorm to a single room with ac and without ac.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
