- Too big we need to walk around everywhere
- Too crowded, there are a lot of people for the btech Computer Science course particularly
Remarks :
Easy admission process They conducted their own exam LPU nest As per which the scholarship is given They require 60% or above for admission in BTech computer science and engineering. The prepration for lpu nest is just the 12th syllabus and analytics
Course Curriculum Overview :
Updated curriculum making students industry ready. Faculties are very cooperative, they make students do work like industry specialist and also they provide a very easy and non burdening assesments for students to be evaluated.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship as of now but will soon be opting for the internships as a lot of companies are visiting campus for the placements and internships. The avg stipend given by the companies is 25000 rupees and the avg package is 700000
Placement Experience :
A decent placement and internships are provided. They're are a lot of companies visiting campus for both placements and internships. Every year almost a 400 companies visit the campus hiring almost 90% of the crowd.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
140000 fees for 2 semester + 8000 exam fees, 4000 each semester. They provide scholarships according to the score in their exam LPU nest , upto 40-45% of scholarships are provided based on the marks obtained in the LPU NEST exam.
Campus Life :
Excellent campus life, they provide a great exposure , a lot of events happen in the campus consisting both entertainment and educational events, a lot of extra curricular activities are being made done by the students to the students
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good Mess is good but can be better A bit to expensive More facilities can be given but they provide for every necessity. Free 24x7 wifi is provided every room is equipped with AC or Air Cooler And also a water geyser.

I joined the TPP programme by paying an additional fee of ?11,000. Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini and Virtusa visit for recruitment. In 2026 Accenture selected 200 students The highest package is around ?22–25 LPA, while the average is approximately ?5–8 LPA. Around 35–40% of students get placed. I was selected by Virtusa with a package of ?7 LPA, and I plan to start my professional career there after graduation.

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
