Likes
- I like the college is - there are so many fests🤔😁.
- The campus life is really enjoyable and good to get a good friend circle.
Dislikes
- I dislike about the college is the faculties are sometime rude.
- The tution fees are very high for middle class family.
Remarks :
I decided to choose the college because of its academic excellence. Also their academic work in the field of Mass Communication. My relatives also suggest me this college. And now I also feel that I choose a right college for my future.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If I share my opinion on the course curriculum academics and faculties then they are overall good. But I think they should appoint more experienced and capable faculties. As a student I feel sometime helpless to cover the syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
The intership under intershpshala is good. I did this internship for 6 months. But the intership is paid. And I personally not satisfied with the intership. If I get any free internship to build up skills I will surely join that .
Placement Experience :
As a 2nd year student from the seniors I heard that the placements are good but if and only I have a high cgpa. But for the medium students to get placement or any internship is a quiet difficult. There are so many companies like - wipro, cognigent, tcs who hired a lot of students from our college every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The semester - wise fees is 85,000. There are a government scholarship named Swami Vivekanand Merit and Means Scholarship and other private scholarships like Reliance Scholarship etc. My bathmates also pay same fees. The SVMCM scholarship provide 60,000 per year. The college also gives some less fees in college tution fee.
Campus Life :
Unifest or Youth utsav in 8 - 12 January Annual Fest, Celebration of Foundation Week in February etc. The library is also very big and there are a lots of books for every course. We are very greatful for such a library. There are also so many sports and extracurricular activities like Football, volleyball, cricket, gym etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have optedna hostel provided by the college. The hostel mess for girls is homely. My roommates are also very friendly. The only thing I dislike about the hostel is food and hygiene. The fees per month is 15,000.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
