Remarks :
One of the main factors that made me choose this college was its strong academic reputation in the field of computer applications, along with its structured curriculum and affordable fee structure. The environment felt Student- friendly, and I had heard positive feedback from seniors and alumni. The admission process was simple and smooth we only had one round which lasted about 30 minutes. It was more of an interaction than a strict interview, and I found it quite easy and comfortable. Overall, it was a good experience and help me confidence that I was stepping into the right place to start my career journey.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college for its affordable is and supportive environment. TPC quotes suits my interest in Tech. Faculty members are well qualified and helpful teaching is clear and interactive. Exams are held every 5-6 months and are quite tough.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently in my second year, so I haven't received any intensive yet. Intensive opportunities are usually provided in the final semester, and I took forward applying between the college begins the process.
Placement Experience :
Placements eligibility requires 85% attendance. companies like Gillette Card and TCS have visited our college. Around 40 - 60% of students get placed. While placements are limited,, I plan to pursue my master's degree after completing this course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
At the time of enrollment in the BCA course, I paid an admission fee of rupees 10,000, along with a tuition fee ( First installment ) off rupees 20,000, a caution deposit of rupees 3000 ( Refundable ), And a uniform fee of rupees 4000. Additionally an enrollment fee of rupees 20,000 was paid in semester 2023. These charges are compulsory and applicable to all students under the general/management category. The semester wise tuition fee are fixed at rupees 20,000 per semester, Which I have been paying regularly as scheduled. This makes the total semester fee of rupees 1,20,000 across six Semester. Including the initial one time charges, the complete force fee accounts to rupees 1,77,000
Campus Life :
Campus life is lively with various clubs, events, and a strong anti - raging group. Fests are held in August and September. The library is large with a wide range of books and journals. Sports and extracurricular activities are organized in February.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college does not have an On - campus hostel, but there are many affordable rented rooms and PGs is available nearby. The campus canteen offers good quality food at reasonable prices. the locality around the college is student friendly and convenient for living.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
