Likes
- The college infrastructure is great and the good thing is the college is just beside the main road just because there is no problem to get a two wheeler or four wheelers. The campus life will be great for a newcomer because no one is allowed to torcher others.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and the strictness should be reduced.
Remarks :
The college is excellent in this area and there was no group discussion or any other exam to get admission. They just need 60% marks is HS examination. The college have some rules and regulations which the students should strictly followed. Students should follow the dress code. Teachers are very friendly and they takes care for each students. They help students when they face problem in study even if someone misbehave with them. The lab is great and there is enough system for students . The food is great and testy in canteen and there are much variety. The bad thing about the college is, there is no hostel and the campus is not so big.
Course Curriculum Overview :
There is much more option to have a great career after completing BCA. I love to do coding and it seems interesting to learn more computer languages. The teachers are qualified and great they teaches us using new technology and clear each topics by there best. We have to give class test each month and before the final semester exam an internal is taken by the teachers.
Internships Opportunities :
They provide internship 1 or 2 times in a year in which paid and unpaid internship are included recently "a deta core technology" company higher some students and which is a paid internship. Tcs, wipro etc has visited for new ideas and new jenaration to make there journey fast and great.
Placement Experience :
They provide placement for the students who are selected in the interview. And they provide a chance to every students to sit in the interview. Tcs, Wipro has visit for the placement and they higher almost 30 to 40 percent students as an intern. I should take higher studies after completing BCA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We have paid 28000 in a year for two semester. The tuition fee is 2000 per month, the registration fee was 15000 that was pain one time. The admission fee was 10000 but now it is around 12000.the lab fee and development fee is included with the semester fees. The exam fee is taken in every semester which is around 1500 to 2000. Few money are taken by seniors in each fest which is around 500 . Swami vivekanand scholarship is available for the students according to their eligibility criteria.
Campus Life :
There are few fest in our campus like freshers party ,fairwell party which is conducted in the month of June or July and then we celebrate teachers day in our campus in the month of September and at last of the year we celebrate a Mesmerize party that is celebrated for few days in the month of December. The class room is well managed and each students respect others personal space. Everything is under control in the class room. There is a cricket tournament and some football matches in a year in our campus. Students have a big ground for playing. Students also played badminton there is a chess tournament.
Hostel Facilities :
They provide testy food and there are many variety there is a great space in our canteen area. They provide rice, roti, even some fast food like Maggie, sandwich etc. They don't have any hostel. The locality is great and there is available room Or rented house beside the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
