- The ground ,library are the place of the college
- The faculty of the colleg id good but some are arrogant .Overall faculty team is very well they will help you whenever you need.
Dislikes
- The canteen is good but the prices is too much high
- The campus is good but at the old building of the college needs improvement
Remarks :
Shyam lal college is a decent college were you wil get chance to improve your skills and enhance yourself .This college has 3 computer labs , a big library with lots of books of each sector and streme with ac in library.The main factor of admission in shyam lal college is through cuet marks but shyam lal college also accept admission through sports quota,class 12 marks like this year delhi university accept admission through class 12 th marks and allocate seat to students who were wiiling to take admission in Delhi University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
my course is B.sc physical sciences,along with computer science in which i get to know about how does a prigramming language works and how write a code ,Physical class are mostly based on mechanics,the mathematics is totally focused on calculus.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently in first year so i am not eligible for innternship.They will provide around 2 to 3 lpa to new commers which is decemt but needs to improve where other colleges offersmore chances to freshers.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement and training cell where student get job offer by companies,the most visited company in my colllege is ICICI,Kelvin klein which offers around 5lpa to the students and inetrnship is also provided by the companies where they oofer around 30k.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for a year for my course is 30k in ehich library fees,laboratory fees ,Mainatiance fees,General awarness ,etc. If you have got admission through cuet you have to pay approx 30k but in some courses it will becomes around 20k which is good for lower income families.The fees for B.Sc courses is 30k,fees for B.A is 28.5k for all types of charges and fees including library fees.
Campus Life :
The campus of shyam lal college is good and well maintaned by the college ,wifi facility is available for students,canteens food are good but the price is higher than from other hotel.There is a special ground for hockey,my college is at top of all delhi university college in terms of hockey .
Hostel Facilities :
I am living in a pg where they provide food three times,washinng machine for cleaning clothes,Freeze,etc for around 8000 rupees which is best i have seen here like other are charginng Around 10k for the same facillity where they will not give goog food but my pg is good.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
