Likes
- The infrastructure is great. Campus life is amazing. The Robo park is great spot.
- The diversity is great. You will find people from all states in LPU
- Lots of opportunities. Many activities keep taking place here at LPU. If you skill you will surely do well
- Good scholarship. Good amount of scholarship is provided to the students here.
Dislikes
- The student intake is huge. Though it has both pros and cons. Pros is great diversity and cons is huge competition.
Remarks :
There were no group discussions or any sort of interview for my course. I gave LPUNEST and then I applied for Shikshak Samman Anudaan which got approved by a week. I got a good amount of scholarship. The minimum eligibility for BTech Computer Science and Engineering is 60 percent in higher secondary and must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics in higher secondary.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course consists of eight semesters. The faculties are well qualified. Continuous Assessments are taken on regular basis. Mid term and end term is conducted as per academic calendar. Few subjects' exam is taken in OMR while rest in pen paper based. Programming subjects in Code Tantra platform like Python.
Internships Opportunities :
Not as such. I didn't participate in any internship there unable to answer the question the moment. I am a fresher currently. I am in first semester of my first year. We are not prepared yet for internship.
Placement Experience :
The placement is good. Good number of companies visit every year. Microsoft, Adobe, Visa etc visited for campus recruitment. The highest was 3 crore off campus. The average CTC is around 8 to 9 lakhs per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The original fee during my admission was 1,40,000 INR per semester. After taking LPUNEST, I received a 50% scholarship, and an additional 20% deduction under LPU Shikshak Samman Anudaan, reducing my fee to 56,000 INR per semester. I highly recommend taking the LPUNEST scholarship exam. LPUNEST can be taken in both modes, from home as well as from offline centers. There is also defence scholarships named Rakshak Samman Anudaan. The scholarship amount decreases in the later phases of admission, so if you are sure about joining then try to take admission in earlier phases to get higher amount of scholarship. There is a minimum 10% increase in tuition fees for the successive session.
Campus Life :
There is no such fests. Event take place very often. Central Library consists a good amount of books. The classrooms are digital and air conditioned. The sports and extra curricular is impeccable. LPU has olympic size swimming pool. There are many playgrounds throughout the campus. You will many clubs like Literary, Dance etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There are ten boys hostel and six girls hostels (some more are in progress). You can opt for various seater like two seater, three seater or more. The mess food is satisfactory. There are various food types like Northern, Southern etc. You will only get vegetarian food in the mess.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
