- Infrastructure are very good well cleaned, faculty is very good and well qualified but campus life not good
- Sports facilities are very good we can participate any game as we want

- Library experience not much good books are limited
- Highly politicaly radical some are use to fight among them
Remarks :
Main reason this college have very good record in Bsc chemistry, everyone cleared IIT JAM or other top universities many of them selected for direct M.Sc-Phd integrated courses . Teachers are very good and the college is only 5 kms away from my home this why I left NIT durgapur in mechanical engineering and chose to do B.Sc . Cut off was 75 no such exam only merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm very much interested in research this is why I chose the course in future I will do PhD in chemistry. Faculties are very well qualified some are have foreign PhD and post-doc degree. Exam are semester wise. Not much costly You can easily get SVMCM scholarship
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done a research internship in IIT Kharagpur. Also done a online internship program in applied chemistry and gain lot experience for my research paper. Currently I'm with a Ed-tech platform as a doubt faculty
Placement Experience :
No placement run here if you have good score you can apply for off campus. Internship are available for science students via professors in other universities and IITs, nits . Even i have done internship.
Campus Life :
Not such big fest only freshers program done Books are available more in BA program here need to improve with journal Book Classroom are very well cleaned Sports culture are very good Fitness club cricket club and science club available No hostel available

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role.
