- The main infrastructural attraction of the college is its field, basketball court , labs .
- Campus life is great as in my 2 years experience I have never faced bullying or any sort of ragging in this college and never have seen one getting bullied, so in my opinion I this college is the safest for any students .
Dislikes
- There is nothing that I dislike about the college except for the faculty number issues .
Remarks :
I personally got in by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination . But before etting admission the college authorities took a simple enough admission test regarding my basic knowledges and also some of the basic character judgement questions were asked overall the questions were pretty basic and easy to answer.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college does provides a government scholarship name the Vivekananda Scholarship and also a merit based scholarship from the college on tution fees . The faculty here are very helpful and kind the teachers are very frank and friendly as I never got any issues while communicating with them but I will say the number of faculty members are lacking . Personally I am very fond of computers and electronic devices as from an early age I had curiosity about the daily machines and how they work so choosing a course which helps me understand the world of computers is what I thought would be great for my future .
Placement Experience :
This is the area which is most important for college selection in which oir college is a bit lacking as recently our TPO was changed and the new TPO is still a bit under the weather so the placement conditions are still on hold . The faculty is trying to improve the placement department , only hope stays. For internships college does provide some of the internship opportunities to the students and also allows off campus internships . Recently some of our 4 th year batch students got paid internship at a company .
Campus Life :
Here there is no on campus hostels for Engineering students but outside there are many PGs with cheap rates and necessary services. One thing that is there is very less stationary shops in that locality so it is a bit of problem . There are many extra curricular activities such as football , cricket , basketball, swimming taking place occasionally and thus keeps the students in great shape and health .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
