College Infrastructure Yes, the college has a good infrastructure, and facilities and it provides us with all the necessary equipment, the campus has a wifi-based platform on every floor. We've smart boards in most of our classes. The area is small. Academics I'm pursuing my BTech in CSE because it has a vast scope in the software engineering field. Our all facilities are teaching us to their level best but it would be a pleasure if they prepared us for the GATE examinations as that will help the students to achieve their goals without further coaching.

College Infrastructure The infrastructure of the campus is very superior and satisfactory. As all the facilities are available in campus for us. Classroom are well maintained and all the area are also well maintained and clean. Wifi is available but very average quality. Academics We had very nice staff of teachers in our college. Every teacher is well qualified and has different and unique ways of teaching . Most of the teachers have practical approach and some has theortical thinking of teaching. They tries there best to make students understand every thing. Quality of teaching is decent here in this college.
Campus Life :
College Infrastructure It's a beautiful hilltop campus with all the necessary facilities. The mess has decent food better than the long going myth of intolerable mess food. There is a 24/7 open central library. There are well-equipped classes and computer labs. Academics Our curriculum gives a holistic view of the entire media communication industry and is updated with the necessary media trends. It was a very communication-specific course with 4 specializations, brand communications, public relations, media management, and media marketing analytics.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
