- Great infrastructure although the college is situated far from the main road ir enabled them to have a larger campus.
- The best faculty I've ever encountered in any institution.

- Distance from main road is around a kilometre.
Remarks :
No specific bad aspect remains. The college was campus 2 to be specific and was under instruction back when I enrolled. It has upgraded leagues beyond now. Admission process is quite simple you need to fill out forms and make an affidavit. Once the necessary documents and payment has been completed the college guides you through the necessary things before classes start. Incredible labs and classrooms and very helpful teachers ans staff. They guide you through everything all the way till registration and are incredibly helpful. The examination is diploma in pharmacy. Pass marks used to be 32 it may have been updated since. Theres two college exams and two board exams. All with practicals.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is good. Faculties brilliant to say the least incredible labs, library, and classes. Teaching methods were great and teachers ensured every student understood all concepts clearly. The exams were Average in difficulty and the timings depended on the board. There were no fee hikes during my time there first year payment was 110000 and second year was 65000
Internships Opportunities :
A compulsory practical training with no stipend is necessary in this course. In my case I did practical training in a primary health centre under a government hospital. I had to distribute medicine to patients and help out the nurse and the doctor present there while learning about the various aspects of customer interaction and real world drug usage.
Placement Experience :
I did not partake in placements but I've heard of companies that did place my colleagues. Medplus was one such company that offered pharmacy jobs to students close to their hopes. The jobs involved being a pharmacist as their establishments.
Campus Life :
Social life was very good. There were multiple fest ranging from picnics in March and farewells in August amongst other small celebrations and also Saraswati Puja. Library has all the books one could possibly need for the subjects. A sports day is held every year and all necessary facilities for that are provided. I'm aware off in terms of student run social groups only in WhatsApp. The college doesn't have an official hostel.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
