Remarks :
This college is just 30 km from my home, and the communication system to visit this college is very good. JEXPO and VOCLET exams are required to gain college admission. The VOCLET exam is only for those who have taken ITI and Vocational, and the JEXPO exam is for all students. All the students who will be admitted through JEXPO will have questions from math, physics, chemistry of secondary level, and general knowledge or reasoning. I read these subjects scored a 3520 rank and got admitted to that college. In this college admission is taken even if there is a minimum rank of 15 thousand. The natural environment of the college is very beautiful. Sirs of this college are very educated and very talented, I am a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineer student at this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course only because I love all things machine-related, and by doing this course can get a big job. The faculty and teaching methods are excellent, our mechanical department sirs used to do engineering jobs in big government places. Semester exams were conducted without 6 months, Sir taught very well and conducted labs as a result of which we did not have any problems. College charges 1000-1300 for first admission 250 for registration before semester exam, and 800-900 for admission in 2nd and 3rd year. In addition, it takes any other cost. Financial Assistance is the West Bengal Government Student Credit Card, and Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is available.
Internships Opportunities :
I got a job from college in Ashok Leyland company. I was assigned to the product production department. Many of my friends get supervisor-level jobs. All the jobs from this college are very good companies.
Placement Experience :
Job opportunities are a very good minimum of 75% of students get a job from college. Should have good technical skills and should get 70%+ marks in every semester examination. the highest Package is 30 thousand and the minimum 12 thousand. A minimum of 75% of students get a job. After getting my degree I will work for 2 years and then do B TECH
Campus Life :
Saraswati Puja and Vishwakarma Puja are held in the college besides the spring festival and fresher welcome. Books by various authors are always available in the library. Annual sports are held in the college, they take place between February and March. The name of the social group is Arambagh Government Polytechnic. The name of the website is Arambagh Government Polytechnic. There is no hostel here, students live in PG or mess whose rent is a minimum of 2000-2500 rupees per month including board and lodging. There is no hostel here

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
