- I like about my college is the campus life because the campus is situated beside a river so there is a lot of natural things in our campus. We can go around the riverside and enjoy our special time
- I was College administrative so helpful and supportive and the classrooms and the infrastructure is so good.
Dislikes
- One thing I dislike about my college is the placement opportunities like there is next to zero placement opportunities. And no recruiter are coming for giving internship to our student
- The college computer lab is so under updated. Computer lab needs to upgrade and there is no auditorium and smart classroom in our college that's a very very big disappointment for me
Remarks :
There is no such admission test for the college but there is a merit system that is based on higher secondary marks, especially the marks obtained in physics chemistry and maths together. The merit number is calculated by the total number obtained in physics chemistry math and computer science after the merit number is ready you have to join the counselling that is online and based on the merit number your name will be on the list of which departments are you going to take. cut off like 60% in the HS exam. There are a total of 10 to 15 rounds of counselling and after the counselling, the final allotment list will be published if your name is on there you can go to the college with your document and verify the documents with college officials after verifying the documents here to confirm and you admitted into the college
Course Curriculum Overview :
Especially I choose this course for my interest I have a lot of interest in computers and technology. The faculties of our college are very good and they are very kind of supportive the help us a lot to find our queries and all our problems. Exams are semester based like in the Makaut schedule. There is no free Hike as much as I know and the fee is very nominal and affordable for students.
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah, I have opted for an internship in the company Private Limited as a customer support associate my job role is to connect with customers and give them brief information about our products and all.
Placement Experience :
Our college has no such placement program and no companies are visiting our colleges you can do internships by the third year and the college has a facility like an earn while running program like program that allows students can do internships in various companies during their studies. The minimum eligibility criteria for placement is 50% marks and there is no such a big product visiting our company our students have been placed in the companies at the average salary of 3 LPA. My plans after doing my B.sc is to be admitted into MSc and do m.sc and after that, I will find a suitable job for me.
Campus Life :
There are two fests one is fresher and the second one is our college social the fresher happens in October or September and the college social usually happens in the month between February to March. Our library has a large number of books and classrooms are also very good. Usually, a sports program happens every year for both men's and women's games in the sports curriculum activities Their officially only girl's hostel is available not for boys but if you want to stay around our college there are a lot of PGS and messages outside there so you can find a better mess for your residence. There are a lot of groups like social and fundraising and like coding and like others.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
